This Privacy Policy explains how FRIENDO APPS TECHNOLOGIES - FZCO(“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with this website. It is written to be readable, not buried in footer text. This is a website-level policy; a dedicated in-app privacy policy will accompany the EyePause app at launch.

2. Website vs app privacy

This policy covers our marketing and information website only. The EyePause app is designed to work without a camera and to keep core routines on your device; its full data practices will be described in a separate app privacy policy before the app is published.

3. Information we collect

We aim to collect as little as possible. This website does not use advertising pixels, behavioral tracking, or a newsletter database.

Our contact form does not store or transmit data through this website. When you submit it, your browser’s own email app opens with a prefilled message addressed to us — you choose whether to send it, and you send it from your own email account.

4. Contact messages

If you email us (directly or via the contact form), we receive the information you choose to send — typically your name, email address, and message. We use it to respond to your enquiry and keep it only as long as needed for that purpose or as required by law. We do not sell personal information.

5. Hosting and security logs

Our hosting provider may process standard technical data (such as IP address and request metadata) in server logs to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site. This is used for security and reliability, not to build advertising profiles.

6. Cookies and tracking

This website is designed to avoid non-essential cookies, so no cookie banner is shown. We do not embed third-party maps or videos that load before you choose to interact with them. If analytics or non-essential cookies are introduced later, this section and an appropriate consent mechanism will be added.

7. Future EyePause app data

EyePause is being designed to be private by default: no camera, no tracking of your face or eyes, and core routines that run on your device. Reminders are optional. Before the app is published, a dedicated app privacy policy will describe exactly what data it uses and why.

8. Retention, your rights, and requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have sent us. To make a request, email legal@friendo.mobi and we will respond within a reasonable period.

9. Children

This website and EyePause are general-audience products and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International access

We operate from the United Arab Emirates. If you access this website from another country, you understand that any information you send us may be processed in the UAE and other locations where we or our service providers operate.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the website, the company, or the product evolves. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above.
